Why would I stop seks before a Plant Medicine Ceremony with Ayahuasca or Choco Bliss?

When you do a plant medicine ceremony, you open up yourself and make yourself vulnerable. Not only emotional, also energetically.

Do you need to stop having seks? How long should you stop? What if you do have sex before a plant medicine ceremony with Ayahuasca of Choco Bliss?

First of all, there is a difference between doing an Ayahuasca Ceremony or a Choco Bliss ceremony. Both contain the spirit of Mother Ayahuasca, but Choco Bliss does not contain DMT and that makes a huge difference.

Ayahuasca & seks

When you do an Ayahuasca Ceremony, I recommend to stop having seks at least 3 Days before your Ayahuasca Ceremony. If you do 3 Ayahuasca Ceremonies in a Retreat, I would say: Stop having seks 2 weeks before your Retreat takes place.

Why would you stop seks before your ceremony?

When you have seks, you exchange energy and you keep the energy of the other person with you for a while. Especially when you are a woman. We receive this energy in out whom. You want to be pure during ceremony and have full focus in yourself, your own process and be in your own energy during your ceremony.

Choco Bliss & seks

With Choco Bliss it’s less strict, because there is no DMT. I would still recommend to be careful with seks before Ceremony. be aware that you are mixing your energy with another and again: You want to be pure and have full focus on yourself during your inner journey.

Not 1 truth

There is not 1 truth in here. I do hear people who are using a low dosis of Choco Bliss during seks. Seks becomes more tantric. That’s more for a couple I would say.

Inner journey & Healing

To me Choco Bliss and Ayahuasca are both tools for healing and to come closer to yourself. I use it to go inside and to me this is a holy experience.
