How to use it
You can choose between 4 different strengths:
Step #1 Choose your quantity
10-15 grams = sweet
15-25 grams = funky
25-35 grams = serious
35-50 grams = ‘All the way’ ceremonial dosage
Step #2 Add water or milk
Add 150-200 grams of water or milk. Play with the amount and thickness of your Cacao and find out what your ideal Cacao is.
Step #3 Heat Up & Mix
Put this mix on the stove and stir it with a whisk or molinillo so that a small charge of foam forms. The air created while stirring makes for a softer Cacao. You can think, speak or chant your intentions while making your Cacao.
Step #4 Pour
Fill your favourite cup or mug with the for the ultimate experience. You can add sweetener if you drink it for daily use. For example, Palena. If you are using it ceremoniously, do not add sweetener. Take the time to drink your Cacao slowly and deliberately.
How do you use the Panela?
Use half to 1 whole teaspoon of Palena per cup. You can do this while preparing your cacao or stir it into the hot cacao after you’ve cooked it.
If you use it ceremonially, do not add any sweetener. Take the time to drink your cocoa slowly and consciously.
Psychoactive substance (Can you possibly trip from it?)
At high doses, you have a slightly trippy feeling. You open your heart and get closer to your emotions and feel more love.
